Homes on the market in Waltham Forest are among the quickest selling in the country, according to a survey.
Research by Rightmove placed the borough fourth in a table based on the time it takes to sell properties in different areas.
Cambridge topped the list, with homes taking an average of 27 days to sell, compared to Waltham Forest with 31 days - twice as quick as the national average.
Lewisham and Sutton were also in the top four.
Homes in Waltham Forest are now said to be selling on average 13 days quicker than last year.
The average sale time in London was found to be 41 days.
Properties in parts of Wales and the north of England were found to be the slowest selling.
The findings were based on how long all properties in areas had a status change from 'for sale' to 'sold' in the months April to June 2014.
Miles Shipside of Rightmove said: "This new data shows just how different the pace of the housing market is at a very local level, and clearly displays that speed is key for both buyers and sellers."
