Music, sunshine and carnival colours took over part of the borough this weekend as hundreds celebrated the Leyton Big Weekender.
The two day family festival kicked off with performances from members of UB40, alongside tribute band UB42, Tina T and Gappy Ranks.
Leyton Cricket Ground in Crawley Road was packed with excited crowds enjoying the free entertainment and games including a surf simulator, rodeo bull and bungee trampoline.
In Sunday the streets were bursting with colour and music as the annual carnival snaked through the borough from Leaving Leyton Cricket Ground through High Road Leyton, Lea Bridge Road and Vicarage Road.
