Events have been announced to mark the anniversary of the Great War.
August 4 marks 100 years since Britain declared war on Germany and Redbridge council has announced commemorative events.
The main event, involving a parade and remembrance service led by Reverend Richard Whyber from the parish of Wanstead, will take place on August 3 from 12pm to 1pm outside Redbridge Town Hall, in High Road, Ilford.
The council is also taking part in the UK-wide initiative Lights Out on August 4, which will see council-run buildings turn off their lights from 10pm to 11pm.
