A CCTV image has been released by police in Waltham Forest of a suspected burglar.  

Suspect 152701 is wanted in connection with a burglary at a flat in Canons Court in Janson Road, Leytonstone, on June 15 at 11pm. 

The man is caught on CCTV outside the block of flats trying to gain entry to numerous flats until he found one he could open. 

Once inside, he is accused of stealing an Alcatel mobile phone worth £30 and a holdall containing nappies while the victim slept. 

 The CCTV image has been released to the Guardian as part of a joint venture with the Metropolitan Police to identify potential perpetrators of unsolved crimes in the borough.
