A town will commemorate its soldiers at its annual festival today.

Epping Festival goers will don First World War period attire for the event to mark the centenary of the conflict.

Festival goers can pay £1 to enter a competition for the best costume and all the proceeds will go to The Dream Factory.

The festivities start at 10am with storytelling for children in Epping Bookshop in High Street and run until around 4pm.
