Friends and neighbours came out in force to show off their green-fingered talents at an annual village show.

Theydon Bois Horticultural Society held the event in at the Coppice Row village hall on Saturday.

Cups were won in 12 categories ranging from the best fruit and vegetables to photography. 

There was also a junior competition.

Organiser is Margaret Bhansle said: “We are really pleased with the show there were a lot of good entries.

“Sadly we had fewer entries to the fruit and veg and flower competitions due to the thunder storms on Friday.”
