Police have released a CCTV image of a suspect fuel thief. 

Suspect 152905 is accused of theft at Esso petrol station in Lea Brige Road, Leyton, on June 1 at 6pm. 

The driver of the black Fiat Punto allegedly filled up £19.85 worth of fuel before driving off without paying. 

 The CCTV image hasbeen released to the Guardian as part of a joint venture with the Metropolitan Police to identify potential perpetrators of unsolved crimes in the borough.

Anyone with information is asked contact Waltham Forest police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Simple thing. Get drivers to pay for their fuel first.
