Police are yet to explain why a house in Walthamstow has been cordoned off for more than 24 hours.

The property in The Crescent and a section of the pavement and road have been taped off since around 7am yesterday.

Ambulance services were called to the scene at 7.15am but were cancelled shortly after and would not disclose the nature of the report.

Neighbours have taken to Facebook to raise their concerns.

More details to follow.

It obviously is not concerning crime as there is no crime occurring in Walthamstow these days and everything is rosy.
