More than £145,000 was raised for Cancer Research at the annual Race for Life event at North Weald Airfield.
More than 1,600 women took part in the fundraiser either running, jogging or walking the 5km or 10km course.
Councillor Tony Boyce, chairman of Epping Forest District Council, said: “It was fantastic to see so many local women of all ages, shapes, sizes and fitness levels turn up to support Race for Life.
"The weather was perfect as they walked, ran and even danced around North Weald Airfield raising £146,000 for cancer research.
"Judging by all the smiles at the finishing line, it looked like everyone taking part had a great time.”
