Funeral of former District Councillor to take place
The funeral of former district councillor Joan Davis will take place next week.
Mrs Davis, who represented Loughton Broadway and was the first non-Conservative chairman of Epping Forest Disctrict Council, passed away July 12 as a result of complications from a stroke.
The cortege will pass along The Broadway in Loughton at 1pm and will pause outside the Epping Forest District Council offices in Epping at approximately 1.45pm.
The funeral will take place at Parndon Wood Crematorium, Harlow, on August 11.
Those who wish to honour her memory are invited to make a donation to Breakthrough Breast Cancer or St Clare Hospice in Hastingwood.
