Police in Waltham Forest are trying to trace a man after a house was burgled.

Suspect 153695 is wanted in connection with a residential burglary in Cann Hall Road, Leytonstone, on July 1 at 3am. 

Police say the homeowner did not lock the front door and the burglar forced it open.  

A Piaggio scooter valued at £750 and a £300 Armani watch were stolen.

The scooter was later recovered intact in nearby Chichester Road. 

The CCTV image has been released to the Guardian as part of a joint venture with the Metropolitan Police to identify potential perpetrators of unsolved crimes in the borough.
