More than 1,000 were estimated to have visited a beer festival.
The Epping Ongar Railway Beer Festival sold out of all 40 barrels of real ale, as well as additional cider.
Extra supplies had to be called in due to the popularity of the event.
Festival-goers were entertained by a variety of live music.
Organiser Alan Perryman said: "We've had a great festival, we've got through 40 barrels of ale and more besides including the special brew, the Gobbler, produced by local Brentwood Brewery Company.
"When we've had a chance to recover we might turn our minds to the 2015 festival!"
