A group of students have made a film about a First World War hero.

Year 9 students at Wanstead High School have made a documentary about Private Cyril Page.

Private Page lived in Gordon Road, Wanstead, and joined the army in August 1917, aged 18.

His battalion was engaged in the final Allied offensive, which ended the war.

The film will be shown at Redbridge museum in November and will also feature on the National Portrait Gallery website.
