Residents are invited to final Neighbourhood Watch (NAP) meeting before regulations change.
The meeting, in which people will have the opportunity to speak with officers, will be the last before Essex Police change the way they meet with the public.
Soon each area will host a police led Local Community Meeting every 8 weeks and officers will no longer routinely attend neighbourhood action panels unless there is a specific issue requiring attendance.
The new meetings will provide the opportunity for the public to hold their local policing Sergeant, Inspector or Chief Inspector to account and ask questions about the future.
Loughton and Debden residents are invited to join members of the NAP at 6:30pm on August 27 at St Mary's Church Loughton.
