A deaf club celebrated its 10th anniversary and receiving charity status with a barbeque.
Around 80 people attended the event, held by Forest Deaf Club, with free food and drink on offer on Wednesday evening at Uplands Social Club, in Green Walk, Woodford Green.
Club Secretary Jackie Benson said: “The only way is onwards and upwards, we have some great plans for our members and for all deaf people in the London area, and look forward to receiving support from the local community.”
