A community celebrated at its annual village festival.
Fyfield Village Day attracted crowds to the village hall in Houchin Drive, with balloon sculpture, bicycle servicing and barbecues, as well as Punch and Judy and a basketball tournament.
The event also commemorated the centenary of the First World War through an ‘Art in Windows’ display.
An exhibition of villagers’ art, produced throughout the year, was on show for the first time, alongside a display from Epping Forest District Museum.
The celebration was organised by the people of Fyfield in partnership with ‘Rural Roots’ a scheme delivered by Epping Forest District Council which aims to encourage the inclusion of rural communities within the district.
