A schoolteacher accused of sexual offences against a teenage girl is due to appear in court this morning.

John Wunderle, a former teacher at Bancroft’s School in High Road, Woodford Green, will appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court at 10.30am charged with two counts of engaging in sexual activity with a child and two counts of causing or inciting sexual activity with a child.

The 34-year-old, of Greenwich Way, Waltham Abbey, was remanded in custody after appearing at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court last Saturday after breaching his bail conditions.
