Two men are facing a series of charges relating to motoring offences and stolen goods following a motorbike theft.
Police were called to Ropers Avenue in Highams Park on July 31 at around 3.20am after reports a Honda superbike had been stolen from outside a house.
Officers attended the scene but the suspects were not found.
As a result of intelligence gathering, officers attended an address at around 11am in Grange Crescent, Chigwell, and arrested two men on suspicion of theft and handling stolen goods.
They were later charged and remanded in custody to appear at Thames Magistrates Court on August 2.
Danny Simpson, 32, of Silver Birch Avenue in Chingford, has been charged with theft of a motorbike, driving whilst disqualified and with no insurance, and possession of cannabis.
His alleged accomplice, Alex Alabo, 30, of Larkshall Road in Chingford, is accused of theft of a motorbike and four counts of handling stolen goods after police recovered a black Yamaha, two Suzuki's and a BMW X5.
Simpson and Alabo have been remanded in custody to appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court tomorrow.
