A plea date has been set for the schoolteacher accused of sexual offences against a teenage girl.
John Wunderle, a former teacher at Bancroft’s School in High Road, Woodford Green, appeared via video link in Snaresbrook Crown Court at 10.30am today.
He remains in custody, and will appear again at the court on October 20 where he will state whether or not he is guilty of his charges.
The 34-year-old is charged with two counts of engaging in sexual activity with a child and two counts of causing or inciting sexual activity with a child.
Mr Wunderle, of Greenwich Way, Waltham Abbey, was remanded in custody after appearing at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court last Saturday after breaching his bail conditions.
