The British Legion Poppy Appeal event will take place next month.
A nursing home is hosting a charity world war commemoration event next month.
The British Legion Poppy Appeal event will remember those who died in the First and Second World Wars on September 5 from 11am to 2pm at Harts House, in Harts Grove, Woodford Green.
There will be live entertainment singing songs from war time, food from 10s and 40s cooked by the home's chef, raffles and war time games.
A small ceremony will also remember soldiers who lost their lives in the wars with poppy wreaths and a rendition of the last post.
