Police have made a renewed appeal for help to find a vulnerable man missing from a care home.

Tamay Nidai, 39, was last seen at Highams Lodge Care Home in The Avenue, Highams Park, on August 4.

Police and his family are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare and have called on anyone with information to contact them.

Mr Nidai, of Turkish nationality, is 6ft 2ins, and of slim build.

At the time of his disappearance, he was clean shaven and wearing a dark red parka-style jacket.

He is known to frequent the Walthamstow Market area and he may attempt to travel to Wales.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Waltham Forest Missing Persons Unit on 07920 783353 or the police non-emergency line on 101.
