Waltham Abbey Town Hall to hold First World War exhibition over bank holiday weekend

First World War photographs and memorabilia will be on show at a town hall over the bank holiday weekend.

Waltham Abbey Town Hall will host the display from August 22 to 25 which will include insights into Land Girls and nursery workers in the area as well as information about the town’s War Memorial Cottage Hospital.

Personal items from the conflict will be included alongside the accounts of those affected by the war.
