A CCTV image has been released of a man police want to speak to about a string of attempted foreign currency frauds.

Suspect 154617 is wanted in connection with fraud at Thomson in Old Church Road, Chingford, on May 23.

A man entered the travel agents and used a fake driving licence to try and order 2,790 Euros, but the cashier recognised the licence was fake and the man left.

Police also want to speak to him about a series of similar incidents in the same month at Thomson branches in George Lane, South Woodford, Surrey and Dagenham.

The CCTV image has been released to the Guardian as part of a joint venture with the Metropolitan Police to identify potential perpetrators of unsolved crimes in the borough.

Anyone with information can call Waltham Forest police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
