A 36 year old has been charged in connection with a stabbing in Walthamstow last week.
Alexander Mutch, of Prospect Hill in Walthamstow, was charged on August 13 with criminal damage, wounding with intent and threatening the same victim with a knife.
Police were called to Barrett Road off Wood Street on August 12 at around 10am to reports of a stabbing.
A man in his 40s was treated for stab wounds and taken to hospital in a stable condition but has since been discharged, police have confirmed.
Mutch was arrested on August 12 and remanded in custody to appear at Thames Magistrates Court the next day.
He has been granted unconditional bail to appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on August 27.
Officers in Waltham Forest are not looking for anyone else in connection with the stabbing.
