New bus services providing access to hospitals and colleges in and around Epping Forest are set to start next month.
EOS London will from September 1 run a number 66 service every hour between Debden Park High School, in Willingale Road, and Harlow bus station, from Monday to Saturday.
A second route, 66A, will run every hour, 30 minutes apart from the 66, from Monday to Friday between Loughton Station, in Old Station Road, and Upshire Village Hall in Horsehoe Hill.
An EOS London spokesman said: “This is a new operation for Swallow Coach Company, and we hope that the community will welcome, and utilise our new services.
The 66 route will offer links to St Margaret’s Hospital in The Plain, Epping, and Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, as well as a connection for students attending Epping Forest College in Borders Lane, Loughton, and Harlow College.
The maximum adult single fare will be £2.50 and a day ticket costs£4.00.
Students will be charged a flat single fare of £1.50 and £2.00 for a day ticket.
All buses will provide wheelchair and low-floor access.
