A two-year project to engage young people in the area has been awarded £13,500 in funding through The Health Lottery.
Loughton Youth Project in Loughton is set to introduce a programme to explore the needs of 13 to 21-year-olds in the Debden and Oakwood Hill areas.
The project, which was one of three to be awarded funding, will begin with a 6 to 8 week engagement exercise to learn the aspirations of young people in the area.
