New GP to improve cancer services
A GP will dedicate one day a week to improving cancer care in Epping Forest.
An application by West Essex Clinical Commissioning Group for a Macmillan GP has been successful, and a doctor will be chosen to drive through improvements such as early diagnosis and care in the community.
Macmillan Development Manager Tatyana Guveli said: “It is great news for west Essex that there is to be a Macmillan GP for the area.
“We are delighted to be working in partnership with West Essex CCG and look forward to seeing the benefits this new position will bring to local people.”
