An annual photography competition is now accepting entries.
The Reg Fowkes Photographic Competition was set up in 1995 in memory of the historian by his daughter Pat Smith.
For the very first time, Ms Smith of Parkway in Woodford Green, decided to put postpone this year's competition until October 4 to coincide with the community festival launch day across Woodford and South Woodford.
The competition held at St Mary's Church in High Road, South Woodford, is accepting entries in three categories - landscape/seascape, street photography and nature/portrait.
Digital and conventional photos are accepted, unframed prints must not be bigger than 10X12 inches and photos should be mounted on card not paper.
It will cost £1.50 to enter the competition and to view the exhibition running from midday to 7pm cost £1.
All proceeds on the day will be donated to the Church, Mr Fowkes former place of worship.
