Police have released two CCTV images of men they are trying to trace in connection with an assault earlier this month.
Officers believe one of the men involved in the attack at Chicken Corner in Station Road, Bishops Stortford, is a Chigwell resident.
A 26-year-old man was with a woman on August 15 at just after midnight when there was a verbal altercation between him and the two men.
He was then punched in the face and fell to the floor. Both men fled in the direction of Adderley Road.
Invetsigating officer PC Jon Channell said: "Thankfully the victim wasn’t more seriously injured and only received bruising.
"I would like to speak with the two men pictured, one who is believed to be from the Chigwell, Essex, area, as they may be able to assist the investigation."
Anyone with information should contact PC Channell on 101, quoting crime reference A2/14/1205 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
