A plea date has been set for a 36-year-old man accused of a knife attack earlier this month.
Alexander Mutch, of Prospect Hill in Walthamstow, is charged with criminal damage, wounding with intent and threatening the same victim with a knife.
Police were called to Barrett Road, off Wood Street, on August 12 at around 10am to reports of a stabbing.
London Ambulance Service, including air support, arrived at the scene and treated a man in his 40s for stab wounds.
The helicopter landed in the playground of Brookside Primary School, in Barrett Road, but the victim was taken by land ambulance to an east London hospital and has since been discharged.
Mutch appeared at Snaresbrook Crown Court yesterday and has been released on unconditional bail to enter a plea on November 9.
