A Little Free Library has been established in Leytonstone.
The project, in Poppleton Road, aims to encourage ready and improve literacy.
People can donate and exchange books by depositing them in a decorated box.
It was officially opened by children’s author Sarah Bee, who lives in the area, and is outside the home of Felicity Hall and Robert Schroeder.
Artist Leticia Molera-Vasquez designed the library, which features local wildlife.
