A sports centre is hiring out its squash courts for just £1 in a bid to make the community more active.

Epping Sports Centre in Hemnall Street, Epping, will slash its prices in support of the national 'Big Hit' squash campaign every Sunday in September.

The campaign aims to get local people to try out the sport and will offer courts for 30 minutes to both members and non-members from September 7.

Everyone Active general anager Kim Bames said: "Squash is a great way to get active. It’s a sport that is too often overlooked and we want to encourage people to give it a try."
