A video and CCTV image has been released by police after extensive damage was caused at a Leyton betting shop earlier this month.

Suspect 156840 is wanted in connection with criminal damage at William Hill bookmakers in the High Road on August 3 at around 9pm.

Approximately, £4,500 worth of damage was caused to four gaming machines after the man pictured picks up a bar stool and starts smashing the front glass of each machine.

Moments before he starts acting violently, he is seen holding his head in his hands and making hand gestures towards a machine.

It is thought he caused the damage as a result of losing money.

The CCTV has been released to the Guardian as part of a joint venture with the Metropolitan Police to identify perpetrators of unsolved crimes in the borough.

Anyone with information is asked contact Waltham Forest police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
