Free event will be held at the field next to Highams Park Lake
A community group is hosting a family picnic this weekend.
Volunteers of The Friends of Highams Park work closely with Waltham Forest Council and the City of London Corporation to protect and enhance the area's park off Charter Road.
It takes place in the park between 3pm and 6pm on Sunday.
