A hospice is calling on local businesses to raise money for a night of care for children.

Last week Mission 365 was launched, with businesses being asked to raise £946 in a year for Haven House Hospice, in High Road, Woodford Green.

The hospice takes care of children with life-threatening conditions.

Mike Palfreman, Chief Executive, said: “It costs £946 to provide a night of care for our children.

“For many of our exhausted parents and carers, that means a night of uninterrupted sleep and some time out, which really is an amazing gift that the local business community can provide to the parents of a seriously unwell child.”
