A charity has upgraded to a bigger venue to accomodate their growing numbers.
Parkinson’s UK’s Buckhurst branch made the move from their old location in High Road, Chigwell, to the Broadmead Baptist Church in Chigwell Road, Woodford Green.
The branch opened six years ago with six volunteers but has grown to over 160.
Ilford North MP Lee Scott was at the official opening on Thursday, with Redbridge Mayor Ashley Kissin and chief executive of Parkinson’s UK Steve Ford.
The branch provides support for carers and Redbridge residents suffering from the condition.
