Landmarks in Redbridge are due to open their doors for a weekend this month.
Open House London is a free annual festival of architecture and design in the capital, this year taking place on September 20 and 21.
The schools taking part in the festival include Victorian Bancroft’s School, built in 1889, and Georgian Woodford County High School, built in 1768, both located in High School, Woodford Green.
Other buildings to open their doors include Grade II listed Christ Church, in Wanstead Place, Wanstead, which was built in 1861, and The Temple in Wanstead Park, which was erected in the early 18th century.
