A bus passenger is being sought by police after a woman was assaulted during an argument.
The woman pictured is wanted in connection with the attack during an altercation over seating route 69 bus.
The victim, in her 40s, was slapped around the face on board the double-decker outside Pizza Hut in High Road, Leyton, on July 28 at around 2.15pm.
Police say the victim did not sustain any injuries and they are waiting for CCTV footage of the assault from Transport for London.
The image, sent to the police by the victim, was taken after the attacker left the bus when the driver called the police.
It has been released to the Guardian as part of a joint venture with the Metropolitan Police to identify perpetrators of unsolved crimes in the borough.
