Extensive damage caused to hallway and front door completely destroyed
A team of twenty-one firefighters were called to a house fire in Walthamstow this morning.
The front door of a house in Chingford Road, Walthamstow, was completely destroyed and extensive damage was caused to the hallway.
All five residents had managed to escape before fire engines from Walthamstow and Tottenham arrived at aroud 12.20am this morning.
There were no reports of injuries and the blaze was under control within twenty minutes.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
