A group of pub regulars are set to take part in a charity truck pull.

The 15-members of The Bricklayers Arms Troop will take on the challenge on Sunday, ahead of a 75-mile five-day trek.

The route retraces the steps of soldiers who fought in the Battle of Arnhem during the Second World War.

The group, who have already raised over £9,000 for Help for Heroes and the Parachute Regiment Charity, will take part in the pull at The Nags Head pub in Moreton between 3 and 5pm.

Group organiser Gary Middlehurst said: “We really appreciate The Nags Head holding the charity truck pull which will be our last ‘training exercise’ before we set off the following morning.”
