The second suspect arrested following a stabbing in Epping has been released on bail.
The 25-year-old man from Stamford Hill in north London was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of attempted murder, after a 31-year-old from London was stabbed in the chest in High Road, Epping at just after 4am on Saturday.
He remains in a critical condition after undergoing surgery.
The 25-year-old's arrest follows that of a 20-year-old man from Hackney who was arrested on Monday night.
Both men have been released on bail and are due to report back to police on October 22.
