CCTV images of three men have been released by police after a security guard was attacked in Leyton.

On July 17 a 39-year-old security guard was punched in the chest as thieves tried to flee from Tesco Express in Leyton High Road.

During the struggle the attackers dropped their loot, which included pizza, crisps and ready meals.

Suspects 156144, 156145, 156146 were in the store at the time of the incident at around 6am and are wanted for questioning by police.

The security guard did not sustain serious injuries.

The CCTV images have been released to the Guardian as part of a joint venture with the Metropolitan Police to identify perpetrators of unsolved crimes in the borough.
