The search for the remains of King Harold by the team behind the discovery of Richard III’s remains has been postponed the project for the second time.
Oval Films planned to launch an initial ground scan in Abbey Gardens, Waltham Abbey, on September 2, but this was rescheduled due to a delay in securing a licence.
The search, which is based on a theory that King Harold was given a formal burial at the abbey following his death in 1066, has now been put back a further two weeks as the licence has still not been issued.
