He is speaking out about the proposed closure of the last remaining units at Wanstead Hospital in Makepeace Road, Wanstead.
He believes the moving of services at Heronwood and Galleon unit to King George Hospital in Goodmayes will isolate elderly people needing care and mean they would have to travel around six miles to receive care.
