A mother has launched her first childrens' book.
Naomi Burman-Shine, 46, author of Stonely's Pet Dinosaur, staged a reading on Sunday at Epping Bookshop in High Street.
The book is based on a young cave boy, Stonely, who is on the hunt for a red pet dinosaur.
The Buckhurst Hill-based writer launched her tale with the help of her two young sons at the event, which featured face-painting, colouring-in and the creation of dinosaur balloons.
The second book launch event will be held at Village Bookshop in High Road, Woodford Green, on Saturday at 2pm.
