A man has been taken to hospital for an operation following a two-vehicle collision this morning.
Emergency crews were called to the scene in Epping New Road at around 10.45am after a car was in collision with a motorcycle.
One man was treated at the scene for what was described as a 'bad leg injury' and has since been taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow to have it straightened.
His injury is said to be serious but not life threatening.
There were no further casualties at the scene.
The road has reopened.
