A Brownie pack held a double anniversary celebration with an afternoon tea at the weekend.
Theydon Bois Brownies (3rd) held the event to celebrate the organisation's 100th anniversary as well as the pack 45th birthday on Saturday.
Past and present members were invited to the celebration alongside parish councillors and Epping Forest MP Eleanor Laing.
The Brownies ran various stalls, inviting visitors to decorate biscuits, tie knots, have a go at solving puzzles and toast marshmallows.
Mrs Laing said: “I was delighted to celebrate with the Brownies in Theydon Bois their 45th anniversary and the centenary of the founding of the Brownie movement.
“I was a Brownie long ago and I still remember a lot of the things that we were taught.”
She added: “I congratulate all the people who work so hard - the Brown Owl and all her helpers - to keep our local Brownie pack so lively and so interesting. It’s a really important part of our local community.”
