Children at a school have grown a 15 stone pumpkin in a bid to raise money for charity.
Since February youngsters at Chigwell School in High Road, Chigwell have been growing the 100kg fruit alongside salad leaves, peppers and tomatoes.
Chigwell School Gardening Club students have agreed to let the giant Halloween favourite keep developing in order to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.
Gardening Club teacher Sarah Inch said: "The gardening club acquired the greenhouse in February.
"Salad leaves, peppers and tomatoes were all sown at that time and are now cropping magnificently.
"We are currently reaping the rewards of our labour."
