A jobs fair which attracted over 2,000 people last week has been hailed as a success.
The annual fair, organised by Redbridge council, took place on Thursday at Redbridge town hall in High Road, Ilford.
People of all ages were able to browse stalls of around 20 organisations such as Crossrail, City Airport and Toys R’ Us.
Labour Cllr Helen Coomb, cabinet member for planning and regeneration, attended the event.
She said: “It has absolutely been a success and it has been great to talk to lots of people trying to find a job.
“There was a CV clinic and interview preparation too, and it is heart-warming to see a really big range of ages out there working hard to further their careers and look for opportunities.”
