A charity has welcomed its third chief executive officer since the organisation launched in 1990.

Zinc Arts in High Street, Chipping Ongar, saw Dr Daryn Hufton-Rees become the third person to take the position in the charity's 24 year history due to the departue of former CEO, Heather Stradling, who left to persue her academic career.

The charity, which specialises in disability arts and social inclusion, will celebrate its 25th anniversary next year.

Dr Huston-Rees said: “Zinc Arts will continue to be a leader in accessibility, inclusion and great art.

"These things together help people to achieve what they want in life.

"Whether it’s inside or outside the arts, Zinc Arts will always work to help people realise their potential.

“Every person here is brilliant at what they do and has a passion for the work we do as a charity.”
